The Aubusson name is synonymous with world-class tapestries, created in one tiny municipality in central France ever since Flemish weavers took refuge from war there in the 17^th century. Our understated but absolutely lovely orchid purse continues the tradition of woven masterpieces coming out of this storied small town. On either side are stylized renditions of delicate phalaenopsis orchids, one mostly lilac, the other mostly pink, but both subtly underscored by light green, light yellow, and white. The combination complements anything bright, from party dresses to evening gowns.
